The award winning television show NOVA is presenting a one-hour look at first-time marathon running tonight - October 30th - at 8:00PM ET. NOVA airs on the PBS network.

The two biggest events of the season are coming up this weekend! On Saturday, November 3rd, it’s the US Olympic Men’s Marathon Trials. Then on Sunday it’s the ING New York City Marathon. Both events will be held in New York City, on two different courses.
