Somehow the last few Sunday’s have been busy enough that I haven’t been able to write in my Boston training diaries. I’ll get you up-to-date here with a snapshot of the last couple of weeks.
Weeks 3 and 4 were actually pretty good. I spent the timing increasing the distance of my runs and getting a [...]

Welcome back to my training diary as I work toward Boston 2008. It’s a long way off, and if you read last week’s entry, you know that I’m just taking it slowly as I get back into my running after at least eight weeks off with the new baby. (He’s doing great, by the way!)

The last two weeks were a bit strange. Week 8 was basically a [...]

With all of the travel this past week, I forgot to give an update on my own training for the White River 50 miler. I already wrote extensively about our last long run a week ago Sunday, so I don’t need to go back there again.
My long run this weekend consisted of my work [...]

This was an interesting week of running for me. Although I was consistent and was able to get some runs in, most of them were a little rushed in the midst of a very busy week. Friday I had a good run in the late after-noon in Forest Park by-myself and Karl and I finally [...]

This was a recovery week for Karl, Andy and myself. After running two marathons last weekend, we all needed a bit of a rest week and we took it. If you want to read about our weekend at the Rock N Roll Marathon last weekend, click here.
It was interesting that all three of us felt [...]
