London Marathon US TV and Radio Coverage

If you’re looking for a way to watch the Flora London Marathon live on your TV this weekend in the US it will be somewhat of challenge for you. There is no US TV network, including the Versus Network, that has plans to broadcast the London Marathon. However, if you have access to BBC One on your cable provider you will be able to watch it live. It will also be available over the Internet from the BBC’s web-site.

Also, World Championship Sports Network (WCSN), the premier destination for fans of Olympic and lifestyle sports, is offering free live and on-demand coverage of the annual London Marathon via its broadband network available to everyone in the USA and Canada. Taking place on Sunday, April 22, beginning live at 4 a.m. Eastern, fans can go to to watch comprehensive coverage of the 26.2 mile event as over 35,000 participants including elite marathon runners, celebrities and amateurs, will run past many famous landmarks through London.

Full coverage of the Flora London Marathon on April 22nd 2007 will be on BBC One, BBC Radio Five Live and the BBC website from 0830 BST onward:

0830-1400, BBC ONE and BBC Sport website
0800-1600, BBCi and BBC Sport website
0900-1300, BBC Radio Five Live
1810-1900, BBC TWO and BBC Sport website, highlights

All times above are British Standard Time. These times are 8 hours ahead of the west coast of the US and 5 hours ahead of the east coast.
