Reporting live from the PF Chang’s Rock N Roll Arizona Marathon

Running Advice and News is reporting live this morning from the PF Chang’s Rock N Roll Arizona Marathon.

Coaches Joe English and Dean Hebert are going to be following the race from the lead truck with live updates throughout the morning.

It’s currently 50 degrees at the start with a temperature forecast of 68 degrees and partly sunny skies. There appears to be no wind. It feels quite warm to both of us this morning. Dean said a few minutes ago that the temperatures could be uncomfortable for those runners that finish after the first three hours or so.

Runners are streaming into the start area. The excitement is starting to build.

Running great Frank Shorter just came by us in the media area. Check back tomorrow for our interview with him.

We’ve posted four live updates from the race. Click on the “PF Chang’s Live Updates” under the recent posts lists on the right side of the page. Live update #4 includes initial results.
