Video — Dealing with Funky Work Schedules (Episode 3-34)

running-advice-bugCoaches Joe and Dean are back again with more topics about marathon running. This week the two coaches, looking scruffy than ever we might add, are sitting in Scottsdale Arizona in the heat of the summer talking about wonky work schedules. What to do if one week you have all the time in the world and the next you are working four 12-hour shifts. We look today at dealing with work schedules that giveth and taketh away in alternating weeks.

On this week’s episode:
– How can you adjust training schedules when work schedules are not consistent from week to week?
– What are the important considerations for workouts in weeks when you have too much going on to get in all of your workouts?
– Which workouts are key in “down” weeks when you don’t have much time for training?
– How can you avoid over-training in weeks when you have lots of time on your hands?
